To Edit a Service

Restriction: This topic applies only when the Enterprise Server feature is enabled.
CAUTION:

Changing the properties of a registered service might cause application connection errors and loss of data.

  1. If the table of servers on the Home page is being displayed in summary form, expand it by clicking expand button
  2. Click Details against Services in the Objects column for the server you want to edit.
  3. Click Edit in the Operation column for the service that you want to edit.
  4. Update the attributes of the service as required.
  5. Click OK.
Note:

If you make any changes to the listener or listeners, request handler or package associated with the service, the changes take effect immediately, not when you click OK.
