Micro Focus recommends you adopt the
Enterprise Server Common Web Administration (ESCWA) interface.
ESCWA is a modern and feature-rich interface that combines functionality from Enterprise Server Administration, ESMAC, and the
                  ESF LDAP Security Administration interfaces.

By default, the legacy Enterprise Server Administration user interface is disabled. To enable the interface:

               -

                     - Run
services.msc to open the Windows Service Manager.

- In the Services list, right-click
Micro Focus Directory Server and then click
                        				Stop.

- From a
                        				Visual COBOL command prompt, type:
                        				mfds --UI-on
- In the Services list, right-click
Micro Focus Directory Server and then click
                        				Start.

The legacy Enterprise Server Administration user interface requires the following minimum Web browser versions:

                  - Internet Explorer V6.0 or greater.

- Netscape V6.0 or greater.

- Mozilla V1.3 or greater.

Note: By default, Directory Server uses port 86. If you have an active firewall on the Directory Server machine, you need to make
sure that it is configured to allow access to this port.
