Use this page to create a new Universal Resource Identifier Map (URIMap) resource.

Name

The name of this URIMap definition.

Description

A description of this URIMap definition.

Enabled

Check this to enable the resource when it is installed.

Usage

Specifies whether this URIMap definition is for:

Server
Client
Pipeline

Universal Resource Identifier

Scheme: The scheme component of the URI.
Port: The number of the port used by the user application when it communicates with a server.
Path: The path component of the URI.
Socket Close: The duration for which the HTTP connection is held for once Enterprise Server has finished using it. Enter 0 for immediate release, or a figure corresponding to hhmmss. For example, 011230 corresponds to 1 hour, 12 minutes, and 30 seconds.
Host: The host name, or IPv4 or IPv6 address, of the URI.

Associated CICS Resources

TCP/IP Service: The name of a TCPIPSERVICE resource definition that defines an inbound port.
Analyzer: Check this to use an analyzer program when processing the HTTP request.
Converter: The name of a converter program used to convert or perform other processing on the request and response.
Transaction: The name of an alias transaction used either to run the user application that composes the HTTP response, or to start the pipeline.
Program: The name of the user application program that composes the HTTP response.
Pipeline: The pipeline from the inbound web service request made by the client.
Web Service: The inbound web service request made by the client.

Security Attributes

User ID

The user ID to be used in the transaction.

Ciphers

This can be specified in one of the following ways:

A string of up to 56 hexadecimal digits that is interpreted as a list of up to 28 2-digit cipher suite codes.
The name of the SSL cipher suite specification file name can be up to 28 characters long including the extension which must be .xml. The file name can only contain the characters A-Z a-z 0-9 # - . @ _.

Note: Use the USSCONFIG environment variable to point to the location of the SSL cipher suite specification file(s) used. See USSCONFIG for more information.

Certificate

The label of the X.509 certificate that is used as the SSL client certificate during the SSL handshake.

Authenticate

Check this to send basic authentication information in the HTTP response. Basic authentication can only be set when the enterprise server region itself is secure.

Static Document Properties

Media Type: The media type of the response provided to the HTTP request.
HFS File: The HFS file that will be sent as part of the response to the HTTP request.
