Cache Page

The Cache page of the ZDD Network Properties specifies where and how long temporary copies of z/OS files are stored.

Fields on the Cache page are as follows:

Field / Button	Description
Days to keep temporary cache files	Files you have recently accessed can be cached on your local drive for a specified number of days. Choose a number between 0 and 100.
	Specifying a higher number of days will use more disk space on your PC; however, access speed will be greatly increased, as files that have not changed on the z/OS server will not be downloaded again if they are still in the cache.
Cache folder	Enter the location and name of the cache folder, or click the browse button to choose a folder.
